This year all the Grade Twos are involved in the Holiday Card Exchange Project.
This project, organised by iEARN, matches schools up with 7 schools from around the world. The schools then prepare an envelope of cards (Christmas, Hannukah, Chinese New Year, Eid etc) which they send to each of the schools. Part of the project involves communicating with the other schools through a forum on the iEARN website.
This project is a great way for us to learn about other cultures and traditions. Our partner schools are from Slovenia, Taiwan, Oman, Russia and the USA. We have made this map to see where all our partner schools are located.
Find out more about the project here. This is the second iEARN project we have been involved in this year. The first one was the Teddy Bear Exchange project which you can find out more about by clicking here.
