Wow 2KM! Your blog looks fantastic. Well done. You guys will have to help us try and set one up for 2HC. I was really impressed by people reading fluently (and with good expression). Keep up the good work!
P.S. Mr. Crofts looks pretty funny in that photo with no hair! Maybe he should get a wig. What do you guys think?

Hi 2KM. I have really enjoyed going over your blog. You are doing some fantastic things in class. It must be quite exciting.
I especially liked the teddy bear project. It must be such fun. I also could not believe all the people from different countries that have looked at your blog. I wonder what exciting things you will be doing after the holidays.

Wow, your blog is fantastic and very inspirational. We are just beginning our blog journey, and, if you don’t mind, I will pass your blogging guidelines onto our school policy committee because we need to set up a framework for blog operations at our school. Our class will definitely be exploring your class blog…it is a goldmine of great learning!

  12. By: Kathleen McGeady on August 4, 2009 at 11:43 am

    Hi Janette,
We’re so glad you like our blog! Feel free to use the blogging guidelines. They aren’t whole school guidelines, just something I came up with for my class. What school are your from? We’d love to check out your blog when you get it started! Keep in touch!

Hi Ms McGeady and students. Well done on your blog, it looks fantastic. I am a first year teaching student currently doing a unit on technology in classrooms. What an inspired way to teach netiquette, engage the students and allow their families to participate in their learning. Ali

Congratulations to Ms McGeady and the students of 2KM on a fantastic blog! I am currently studying at university to become a high school teacher and am most interested in how you are using the internet as part of your studies. This is a wonderful example of integrating ICT into the curriculum. Congratulations once again and keep up the great work!

    Dear 2KM,
I like the Autumn tree. It is the best tree that I have seen. I have an autumn tree at my house.
    Best wishes,
    Charlotte (2KM)

  20. By: Amanda on March 11, 2010 at 7:59 pm

    Hi 2KM,
If you could describe Autumn as a colour, which would you choose?
Charlotte, perhaps the tree you’re thinking of is a Birch tree or maybe a Maple? We have both of those at our house.
Keep up the fantastic work 2KM.
    Cheers,
    Amanda.

Thank you for writing your blogging guidelines succinctly! I am in the process of writing mine and have referred to yours as I attempt to revise and simplify. Btw, have you checked out brainpop’s videos about digital citizneship? They are free and your student would love them – my 8th graders did.
    Take care,
    Lisa

  22. By: Kathleen McGeady on March 14, 2010 at 4:51 pm

Hi Lisa, glad you found the blog guidelines useful. I haven’t seen the videos although I have enjoyed the free Brainpop videos in the past. I’ll check them out! Thanks!
    Kathleen

    Hi Kathleen,
Please stop by our class blog (8th grade history) if you get a chance. I would love your feedback. Also, The BrainPop video is on the “blogging guidelines” page. Click on Tim and Moby’s picture.
I’ve also read your blog on Integrating Tech and I’ve recently introduced wallwisher for pop culture extra credit opportunities and it’s going well.
    Thanks again!
